Presentation of the Master's programs by some students

Are you a bachelor student and still unsure which master's degree to choose in Biomedical Engineering? We invite you to a discussion session designed just for you. During the event, master's students will share their experience to help you through the various programs, better understand their differences, and clarify any doubts you may have. Together, we'll explore the various tracks: BBB, BCT, BCI, BIF, BTE, and the dual degrees in Materials and Mechanics. After the talks, there will be time for questions.

The IRCCS Istituto Clinico Scientifico Maugeri in Milan is a national center of excellence in rehabilitation medicine and has developed a cutting-edge approach to combating age-related cognitive and physical decline.

During the visit, we’ll learn how biomedical engineering contributes to clinical and research approaches to aging, the process of developing and manufacturing devices to promote cognitive health, understanding how experts address and prevent physical frailty and multiple age-related conditions.

Technical and practical workshop on sustainability in the biomedical field: from material design to their lifecycle, through to clinical customization. With Simone Vesentini (Milan Polytechnic) and Paolo Oliva (Humanitas), we will discuss eco-design, LCA, additive manufacturing, reducing time and waste in the operating room, and procurement criteria, featuring concrete examples and a Q&A session.

From Assistant Manager at KPMG, to Postdoc in bioingegneria presso lo SmartEyewearLab, or Senior Product Manager in Elty, and CEO della start up EosMedTech Srl, they showed the diversity of the jobs after a Biomedical Engineering diploma.

The MEDICA trade fair in Düsseldorf is the largest international event dedicated to medicine and healthcare technologies. This visit will explore the applications of organic semiconductors in the field of biotechnology, with a particular focus on hybrid interfaces, wearable electronics, and their uses in electrobiology and bioimaging; cell culture and the characterization of physio-electronic processes; the development of transistor sensors for cardiomyocytes; and the use of photoactuators for light-mediated biological control.
